Burkina Faso have booked their place in the next round of 2018 World Cup qualifiers after securing a 2-0 win over Benin in Ouagadougou on Tuesday night.
Benin won the first leg 2-1 in Cotonou last week, leaving the Burkinabe needing a win on home soil in order to claim victory in the second round tie.
Burkina Faso managed just that, with Jonathan Pitroipa putting them ahead 17 minutes into the game with a goal from the penalty spot.
The hosts had to wait until the 70th minute to find their second goal, with Chelsea starlet Bertrand Traore scoring to make it 2-0 and give them breathing space.
The result saw the Stallions win the tie 3-2 on aggregate and advance into the group stage of the African qualifying tournament.
