TP Mazembe bagged a vital 1-0 win over CF Mounana in their CAF Confederation Cup, Group D match staged at the Stade d'Angondjé in Libreville on Sunday.
The win leaves the Ravens placed at number two with nine points from five matches to boost their knokout spot aspirations.
Nevertheless, coach Kazembe Mihayo's men will now hope to beat AC Horoya next Friday, July 7 at home to reach the knockout stages.
Mounana failed to claim the much needed three points in the match as they failed to convert their chances in front of goal.
Although the hosts were banking on their home ground advantage to bag the full three points, it was a dull draw at the interval.
However, it was Djos Issama Mpeko's goal which separated the two sides in the 79th minute as he helped the Congolese outfit to their second win in the group.
On the other hand, the draw means Kevin Ibinga's men remain rooted at the bottom of the standings with one point and are out of the race to reach the knockout stages.
Mounana will now hope to finish their group stage account with a win over SuperSport United in South Africa, come Friday 7 July.
