Guinea managed to book a spot in the next round of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Qualifiers following a 7-0 win over Guinea-Bissau at Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry on Saturday evening.
The victory means the hosts are now through to the next round as they set up a clash against the Lions of Teranga of Senegal.
In the wake of the result for the Syli Nationale, they will now face the Senegalese national side in a showdown for a place at the continental tournament to be staged in Kenya next year.
Coach Kanfory Bangoura's men were on fire as they scored seven, thus making the aggregate score line 10-1 as they bagged a comfortable 3-1 away win last weekend.
The hosts scored first through Sékou Amadou Camara in the 38th minute and three minutes later, Mohamed N'Diaye made it 2-0 at half time.
Upon their return from the tunnel, Ibrahima Sory Sankon made it 3-0 and Amadou Camara completed his brace making it 4-0 in the 67th minute.
Camara bagged his hat-trick when he received a pass from Alseny Bangoura as he netted the fifth for the Syli.
The hosts were not done in front of goal as Mamady Diawara and Camara completed the rout ensuring the score finished at 7-0.
