Sports Club Villa will be eager to go top of the 2014/2017 Uganda Premier League (UPL) log on Friday afternoon when they host Lweza FC at the Mityana Stadium.
After stopping Soana FC 1-0 last Friday, the former Ugandan giants will hope to continue with their winning form to go top of the log. “We want to play better football in our second game and score many goals,” Stephen Bogere, the SC Villa coach told AfricanFootball.com.
Hassan Mawanda Wasswa who was on Wednesday recalled to the national team ahead of the 2015 Afcon qualifier tie against Togo said he wants to keep working hard for his new team.
“It’s a new beginning since I joined SC Villa last month and am enjoying my time here. We need to make sure we get maximum points against Lweza FC,” he added.
SC Victoria University who finished second last season also have the chance to go top of the log if they can manage a comfortable victory over visiting Entebbe FC at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
