Algerian attacker Riyad Mahrez has denied rumours that he is set to return to France next season by signing with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Mahrez, who was crowned the PFA Player of the Year on Sunday night and has played a key role in taking Leicester City to within touching distance of the Premier League title, has been linked with a number of teams in regards to a possible transfer.
The most recent rumours surrounding the Fennec Foxes star sees him named as a major target for Laurent Blanc’s PSG, in a move which would see him return to French football.
Despite growing up in Paris, Mahrez told Onze Mondial that he does not see himself playing for the capital club.
"I liked Marseille when I was younger," the Algerian said.
"Even today, Paris doesn't make me dream too much. It's my city but I don't see myself going back to Paris.
"I'm not saying it's impossible. But I really don't want to. I have no desire to return to France. France doesn't tempt me at all - I like England."
