The former Hacken of Sweden star told: "I feel so bad that I have not been given a chance to play for Nigeria.
“It's not like I am not doing well for my clubs. With due respect to those that are getting their chances in Eagles, not all of them even get playing time at their clubs.
“All, the same, it remains my desire to play for Nigeria."
On rejecting Sweden for Nigeria, Chibuike said: "No, I'm not regretting any decision of such, I want to play for my country Nigeria and believe I will still get the chance."
