This was the second meeting between the two sides at the Olympic Games; with South Africa having claimed a memorable 3-1 win over Seleção sixteen years ago in Sydney.

gets to the ball first, but he miscues his header and Brazil are off the hook once again! Great chance there.

with a superb long ball - the Mamelodi Sundowns attacker whips in a cross, Weverton
spills it, but gets the ball at the second time of asking.
South Africa doing very well to contain the dangerous Brazilian attack; Eric Mathoho
has been superb - the Kaizer Chiefs defender winning everything in the air. Neymar
dropping deep, trying to spark something.
Good start for the visitors who have controlled possession well - frustrating Brazil - the hosts have been guilty of giving the ball away cheaply.
