Yannick Bolasie and his fellow Democratic Republic of Congo teammates took to social media to express their delight at qualifying for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

The quartet of Neeskens Kebano, Ndombe Mubele, Jonathan Bolingi and Jordan Botaka found the back of the net for the Leopards in a 4-1 win over the Central African Republic, as the 2015 AFCON bronze medal winners successfully booked their ticket to next year's showpiece in Gabon.

DRC have won Africa's premier cup competition on two previous occasions; in 1968 and 1974 (under the name of Zaire) - finishing third at both the 1998 AFCON tournament and 2015 event in Equatorial Guinea.

Close to 80-000 people packed the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa on Sunday evening to spur on their troops, with Florent Ibengé's men securing the result they needed to finish top of qualifying Group B.
