Former Nigeria youth international Alhaji Gero ended his a six-month goal drought with Swedish team Ostersunds FK on Saturday after he scored twice and provided an assist in a 6-1 win over Falkenbergs.
Ostersunds are 10th on the League table with 33 points from 25 games.
The former Viborg of Denmark striker scored in in the 43rd minute to take the scores to 2-1 after he assisted Alex Dyer for the equaliser in the 32nd minute.
The former Enugu Rangers star completed a brace in the 45th minute to take the score to 3-1.
Gero's last goal was for Ostersunds on March 6, 2016, in a 3-0 spanking of AFC United when he scored s brace.
He lasted 78 minutes, when he was replaced with Andrew Stadler.
