Al Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has expressed his belief that Zamalek can still win the CAF Champions League final.

The White Knights will host the return leg of the final against Mamelodi Sundowns in Alexandria this coming Sunday.

However, their hopes of claiming a sixth continental crown appear to be slim, with the Brazilians having claimed an emphatic 3-0 win in the first leg in Tshwane last weekend.

Yet, El-Badry believes Zamalek still have a chance of turning the tie around and must believe in their ability.

“I advise Zamalek players, administration and technical staff not to lose hope. Everyone should have more trust in the team and stick together in the coming period,” El-Badry is quoted on KingFut

“Nothing is impossible in football,” added the Al Ahly manager. “Players should have their confidence boosted again and calmly get back to action.”

The second leg will be played at the Borg El-Arab stadium on the 23rd of October.
