Dele Alampasu has said he will support the goalkeeper who is picked to start for Nigeria against Algeria tomorrow as team victory is what is uppermost.
Former Nigeria U17 and U23 star Alampasu has pushed his more experienced rivals Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa for the starting place against Algeria in the absence of injured Carl Ikeme.
“We have all worked very hard this week. We are all in good shape and so any of us who is picked, we will support him because the most important thing is victory for Nigeria,” said the Portugal-based shot stopper.
“We do not have anything but to go out there and pick our three points.
“We are playing at home and nothing should stop us from winning the game tomorrow.”
Gernot Rohr has confirmed Daniel Akpeyi will start in goal for Nigeria against Algeria.
