Kano Pillars have expressed confidence former Enyimba stars Chinedu Udoji and Razak Aliyu will honour their word and remain with them rather than move to champions Rangers.
Rangers have tabled bigger offers to Udoji and Aliyu as well as CAF Champions League action even before they have kicked a ball in anger for Pillars.
However, Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa said the players have returned to training with the Kano club and have maintained they will not be joining Rangers.
“They have told us they will live up to their word to play for us in the new season,” Malikawa said.
“There is nothing that suggests they won’t.
“They have resumed training with us after the holidays and they will be part of the squad for the training camp in Kaduna.”
At the height of the transfer saga involving the two players, Udoji admitted he was confused about his future even after he consulted his family.
