Commentary:

90+5' - Full time - Done and dusted in Oyem, Morocco have beaten Ivory Coast to advance into the quarterfinals alongside Group C winners DR Congo! The defending champions have been eliminated!

90+2' - Substitution - Morocco's final change sees goal-scorer Rachid Alioui replaced by Khalid Boutaib.

90' - There will be four minutes of added time.

87' - Yellow card - Mounir Mohand booked for time wasting.

84' - Substitution - Max Gradel replaces Franck Kessie in Ivory Coast's final change.

83' - Substitution - Mounir Obbadi replaces Faycal Fajr for the Atlas Lions.

82' - Yellow card - Karim El Ahmadi booked for an overly aggressive tackle.

81' - Hamza Mendyl with a great chance to make it 2-0 to Morocco, but he puts his shot into the side netting from a tight angle.

80' - In the other Group C game, DRC lead Togo 2-1 and look on course to finish top of the group. Morocco will join them in advancing - unless the Elephants can pull off a minor miracle in the final 10 minutes.

76' - Substitution - Wilfried Zaha makes way for Jonathan Kodja.

75' - Fifteen minutes for Ivory Coast to score two goals and keep their title defence alive... but it really looks like Morocco and former coach Herve Renard have the Elephants under wraps.

70' - Yellow card - A scuffle on field ends with Wilfried Zaha being cautioned for back-chatting the referee.

67' - Ivory Coast threaten an equaliser from a corner kick, but Franck Kessie's dangerous flick-on is well cleared by the Moroccan defence.

64' - GOAL! Morocco 1-0 Ivory Coast - A sublime goal from substitute Rachid Alioui, who sends a curling shot into the top corner from 25 metres out! What a brilliant finish!

60' - Munir Mohand with a brave take almost on goal line as Wilfried Zaha looks to get onto a flick-on from a corner kick! Fine goalkeeping from the Moroccan gloves-man.

58' - Yellow card - Eric Bailly is deservedly booked for a nasty lunge on Hamza Mendyl.

55' - Just over half an hour for Ivory Coast to rescue their campaign. The reigning AFCON champs must win this match to advance into the quarterfinals.

52' - Substitution - Ivory Coast's first change sees Jean Seri replace Cheick Doukoure.

50' - A scrappy start to the second half, both teams looking to re-find their rhythm.

46' - Back underway in the second half. No changes from either side at the break.

45+2' - Half time - Goalless at the break here in Oyem, while the match in Port-Gentil sees DR Congo leading Togo 1-0. As things stand, the Leopards and the Atlas Lions will advance as group winners and runners-up respectively.

43' - Wilfried Bony flicks on a cross, Salomon Kalou looks to head on target but hits the post! The Elephants' turn to rattle the woodwork...

42' - Substitution - Rachid Alioui replaces Aziz Bouhaddouz in what seems to be an injury-enforced change.

40' - Closing in on half time, still goalless in Oyem between Morocco and Ivory Coast. The result suits the Atlas Lions, who only need a draw to ensure they progress into the last eight.

37' - Salomon Kalou with a much better pass to free Wilfried Zaha, but the Crystal Palace man is denied by a brave save from the Morocco goalkeeper!

35' - Salomon Kalou breaks free down the right flank after shrugging off Hamza Mendyl, but his cross into the box only travels safely into the hands of Munir Mohand. Disappointing from the experienced attacker.

30' - Yellow card - Mehdi Benatia is booked for using his hand in attack in Ivory Coast's penalty area. The defender forced an effort on target which was cleared off the line, but the referee soon booked the Moroccan for his indiscretion.

25' - A free kick on the edge of the box for Morocco. Faycal Fajr shoots on goal... and hits the crossbar! So close for the Atlas Lions, a real scare for the Elephants.

20' - The Elephants are dominating possession and have had a couple of set pieces in the last few minutes, but they have yet to really threaten Munir Mohand's goal posts.

15' - It's been pretty tame stuff from these two teams so far, no real chances for either side. The other Group C match between DRC and Togo is also locked at 0-0, meaning it's the Leopards and the Atlas Lions who will advance as things stand.

10' - The Elephants are having some joy with long balls played up to Wilfried Bony, who is dominating the aerial battle against Morocco's defenders.

5' - Ivory Coast looking full of attacking intent early on. The defending champions must win this match if they are to advance into the quarterfinals.

1' - Kick-off - We are underway in Oyem! Morocco wear red and green, Ivory Coast are in their white second strip.

20h55 - The players are out on the pitch for the national anthems.

20h45 - The other Group C match taking place at the same time sees Togo and the DR Congo battle in Port-Gentil. We’ll keep you up to date with the score and the permutations for who advances to the quarterfinals.

20h30 - We’re half an hour away from kick-off in Oyem. The referee for this clash is Sidi Alioum of Cameroon.
