Ahead of their trip to Zambia in honour of the CAF 2017 U20 Africa Cup of Nations, South African coach Thabo Senong has named his 29-man training squad.

The squad will assemble for camp on Monday, 6 February at the SAFA National Technical Centre ahead of their trip to Ndola where they will play a friendly against Zambia on 12 February.

“We are preparing for a very important tournament, the biggest youth tournament on the continent (U-20 Africa Cup of Nations) and we need to be thorough in our preparations,” said Senong in a statement.

The junior AFCON tournament will be hosted by the young Chipolopolo from 26 February – 12 March 2017 in Lusaka and Ndola.

Amajita are in Group B, together with Cameroon, Senegal and Sudan while Group A consists of hosts Zambia, Egypt, Mali and Guinea.
