Platinum Stars will be hoping to bag the full three points when they welcome Orlando Pirates on Wednesday night in their Absa Premiership encounter.

Dikwena occupy number 13 on the log table and their mission is to go all out and bag the full three points at home.

Having wrapped-up the first round campaign with a 2-2 draw against Highlands Park away in December 2016, coach Cavin Johnson will push his side to win this one.

However, to the experienced midfielder, Solomon Mathe, he says they must go all out for a win and ensure they improve their log standing.

“We didn’t play well in the first round but towards the end of December we showed some improvements,” said Mathe to the club's official website.

“If we can produce such kind of performances, I think we are going to do well. We are going to be very competitive.

“Since we came back in January, I look at the guys and I see that everyone is willing to fight for the team. Everyone is pushing hard at training.

"We play home and we haven’t been doing well at home so we have to win at all costs. We are looking forward to the game. We need the supporters to come in numbers.

“We don’t want to disappoint them from the friendly matches we have been playing I can say the team is ready.”

The match will be staged at Royal Bafokeng Stadium at 19:30 on Wednesday night.
