Following his announcement that he will unveil a new coach on Monday next week, Orlando Pirates chairman Dr Irvin Khoza says all the applicants will be measured equally.
'The Iron Duke' spoke to the media during a press conference on Monday at the club's training base at Rand Stadium.
The conference mostly addressed the new coach at the Soweto giants and the violence which was witnessed at Loftus Stadium on Saturday afternoon when Pirates lost 6-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Pirates supporters were seen storming onto the field as they vandalised television cameras as well as advertising boards whilst clashing against the Brazilians faithful.
Khoza condemned the violence as he also outlined their plan to hire a new coach with rumours that ex-Bafana Bafana and Pirates striker, Benedict McCarthy could lead the technical team.

“All the applicants will be measured based on the criteria we are looking at as a Club. We won't just hire at random,” said Khoza.
“Benni and other potential coaches must follow the same procedure: they must apply. We will weigh it up from there.”
Coming to the players, the Premier Soccer League chairman added that he hopes caretaker coach Augusto Palacios will sort out discipline in the team.
“We are affected by this result and we will take stock from all our meetings. I will have a clear picture when I make a decision," adds Khoza.
“It's only fair that from my meetings, Technical Team members and players are not pulling their weight, they should step aside.
"It's easy to point fingers at Palacios because we are losing. You forget that he delivered us trophies when he came as a buffer.
"I don't buy the story that Palacios is complaining about discipline in the team. If there's a problem then he must fix it.
“Palacios is a Prof. That's why he must guide us. Complaining of things you should be controlling shows your shortcomings."
