Baroka FC club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele has confirmed that they have released Uganda internationals Geofrey Massa and Khalid Aucho.
It was reported that the South African Absa Premiership side had released the duo last month, but this was later dismissed by the club.
Mphahlele has since confirmed that they have decided to part ways with Massa and Aucho by mutual consent.
“We have parted ways with those two players and it was a mutual separation," Mphahlele tells KickOff.com.
"They now have their clearances and are free,” Mphahlele, who is also the Baroka club owner, added.
The duo joined the newly promoted Absa Premiership side prior to the current 2016/17 season, but they failed to establish themselves.
Baroka are scheduled to host Platinum Stars in a league game at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday night.
