Ghana winger Christian Atsu has hinted that he may soon be moving from parent club Chelsea.
The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Newcastle United. Since joining Chelsea in 2013 from Porto, the winger has been on loan to Vitesse, Everton, Bournemouth, Malaga and now the Magpies. He is yet to make an official appearance for the Blues.
Atsu appears to have settled well in the Northeast of England under manager Rafael Benitez and has given the strongest indication yet that he wants to make the move permanent.
"It is difficult for me and Chelsea - you can see the kind of wingers they have," Atsu is quoted by GHANASoccernet.
"I have to keep working hard. I spoke with [Chelsea’s manager Atonio] Conte. He is a good manager, very serious in his work.
"I need to keep fighting for Newcastle and do well here.
"I will be very happy if Chelsea win the Premier League and Newcastle get promoted."
