Ahmed Musa has paid tribute to Claudio Ranieri, with the Nigerian thanking the Italian coach following his dismissal from his post as Leicester City manager last week.
The Foxes parted ways with the affable Italian manager last week after a poor run of form which has put the club in danger of being relegated from the Premier League.
Musa took to Instagram to express his sadness at seeing Ranieri leave and wished the Italian all the best for his future.
“So sad to see you go. I am glad to have worked under such a great manager like you,” Musa posted on Instagram.
“Thank you for the opportunity you gave me!! I wish you all the best in the future. May God bless you!”
Ranieri brought Musa to the King Power Stadium from CSKA Moscow at the start of the 2016/17 season.
