Cape Town City striker Lehlohonolo Majoro is looking forward to facing reigning CAF Champions League champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday.
The two sides are scheduled to lock horns in the South African Absa Premiership clash at the Cape Town Stadium in the city of Cape Town.
Majoro, who is a former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker, is hopeful of hitting the back of the net for the Citizens against the Brazilians.
“It was very important for me to score, especially because I hadn’t been playing often due to injuries I have encountered this season,” Majoro told the reporters.
“It is motivating, and makes me want to score even more and work even harder, and work with my teammates to score more goals for the club.”
The 30-year-old forward found the back of the net twice for City during their 3-0 league victory over Baroka FC in Polokwane on Sunday.
Majoro, who has also played for South Africa's Bafana Bafana, has netted five goals in 11 starts for the Citizens this season.
