Orapa United forward Ronald Chikomo is looking to win the Mascom Top 8 Cup for the fourth time and break his own record of three medals.
The Zambian midfielder-cum-striker has lifted the Cup twice with Botswana giants Gaborone United and once with Orapa last year.
The Ostriches will face Jwaneng Galaxy in this season's final after beating Township Rollers 4-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals last weekend.
“I am very happy I am this close to winning the Top 8 again. I am looking forward to the next medal. It will be a tough ask for anyone to break this record if I put it at four,” Chikomo told Mmegi.
“We have showed a lot of character as a team, it’s not easy to beat Rollers twice. We are in a good position now and I believe it (Mascom Top 8) will be ours to lose.
"Galaxy is tough but we are a bit ahead of them in terms of experience. I am enjoying myself here, there is no time for rest," he added.
"We are focused on everything we play for. We have high chances in the league despite falling behind.
"There are still a number of games and we will give it our best shot. We cannot be written off just yet.”
