Township Rollers club president Jagdish Shah has praised South African side Platinum Stars for agreeing to participate in the HEforSHE friendly game.

Shah revealed that some South African clubs were demanding an appearance in order to participate in the HEforSHE friendly game.

“Some other teams in South Africa were quoting about P1 million ($96000) as an appearance fee," Shah told Mmegi.

However, Dikwena, who are based in Phokeng, North West, accepted Rollers' request without demanding an appearance fee.

"As for Platinum Stars they have agreed to visit at their own cost,” the influential businessman continued.

“Platinum Stars were ready and willing to help us at a minimum cost therefore we will only provide accommodation and food for the team."

The friendly is expected to take place in Botswana's capital city, Gaborone later this month.
