Algeria’s Yacine Brahimi believes Porto are well in the Primeira Liga title race but need to take it game by game.
The Fennec Foxes man was at the heart of his side’s 7-0 win over Nacional in a Primeira Liga clash on Saturday, scoring the second goal and putting in a fine performance as one of three forwards deployed by coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
"Yes, it's true, I feel in top form. I have worked recently to regain my form. I feel good, but the most important, as I told you, is that FC Porto wins,” Brahimi s quoted by Le Buteur.
“I want to help my team reach the top. I want to contribute to the success of my team. We need to continue this momentum. The main beneficiary of this form of state is the club.”
Porto are currently placed second on the Portuguese top flight’s log table, just one point behind reigning champions Benfica.
"The title? We believe we can win it, but we must not get too excited. You have to manage the games one by one. I think it is still early to talk about the title. What is certain is that we will give everything to win."
