Ivory Coast international Salomon Kalou has indicated that he is open to extending his contract with German Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin.
Kalou, whose current contract with Berlin is set to expire in June 2017, represented his nation at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Gabon.
The forward has explained that he still feels at home at Berlin, who are in the top five on the Bundesliga log standings at the moment.
"The club's good, we win games, the fans are fantastic, and I feel at home here," Kalou told Bild.
"When you win games, everyone's happy. It's always easy to discuss contracts then," the Ivory Coast international said.
"We've never played in Europe since I got here. It's about progress, about the annual improvement of the team. I see myself as part of the project."
The 31-year-old former Chelsea FC forward joined Berlin from French Ligue 1 club OSC Lille at the beginning of the 2014/15 campaign.
Kalou, who also played for Dutch side Feyenoord, has netted five goals in 15 league appearances for Berlin this season.
