Platinum Stars brushed aside Golden Arrows 3-0 in an Absa Premiership game at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg on Tuesday night.
As a result Dikwena climb up to eighth on the league standings, while Abafana Bes'thende stay sixth on the table.
It took only 11 minutes for Tintswalo Tshabalala to fire the home side into the lead - beating Arrows goalkeeper Nkosingiphile Gumede to make it 1-0 to Stars.
Abafana Bes'thende tried to level matters 14 minutes later, but Kudakwashe Mahachi's missed the target from range after beating his marker.
The visitors grew in confidence as the half-time break approached. Nduduzo Sibiya saw his shot narrowly missing the target in the 37th minute.
However, Arrows were unable to restore parity in the first-half and Stars were deservedly 1-0 up during the half-time break.
Dikwena then took full control of the game in late stages of the second-half applying pressure on the Abafana Bes'thende defence.
Benson Shilongo set-up Bonginkosi Ntuli, who hit the back of the net to make it 2-0 to Stars in the 89th minute with the Arrows defence was caught napping.
The victory was sealed by Henrico Botes, who fired past Arrows keeper Gumede in the 90th minute and Stars recorded a 3-0 win on the night.
