Ahead of the highly anticipated CAF Champions League clash against Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday, KCCA FC's Isaac Kirabira says they are ready.
The midfielder also touched on the fact that Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango's absence will make their job a bit easier.
Unganda's number one keeper, Onyango, is set to be a notable absentee in the Friday match as he remains injured and will not face his countrymen.
However, Kirabira says the absence of the rear guard in goal for the CAF Champions League reigning champions is a blessing in disguise for the visitors.

“I don’t know about the other goalkeepers at Sundowns but Onyango is a key player, the best goalkeeper and best player in Africa, so his absence is a blessing in disguise for us,” he told the club website.
Reports indicate that the Kasasiro had a training session on Wednesday morning at the Tshwane University of Technology Sports Complex and the defensive midfielder talked of the redness of the team to take on the Brazilians.
“We are ready as a team. We respect them because they are the defending champions but we are also champions back home,” adds Kirabira.
“I got the chance to watch them on TV and they play with speed especially in the midfield. We just need to be more cautious and play as a unit because we at least know what they are capable of.”
KCCA FC knocked out Primeiro de Agosto on away goals rule after a 2-2 aggregate score to get to this stage of the competition.
The encounter will be staged at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday night, 19:30.
