Ghana’s Sulley Muntari has got off the mark for Pescara, scoring his first goal for the club in a 3-1 loss to Udinese in Serie A on Sunday.
The former Black Stars midfielder was a second-half substitute and put in a strong showing for the team he joined at the start of the year.
Muntari was rewarded with his first goal for Pescara, intercepting a loose ball on the edge of the box before firing home a low shot in the 83rd minute.
It was only a consolation for Pescara, with earlier goals from Daniel Zapata, Jakub Jankto and Cyril Thereau seeing Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu’s side 3-0 up.
Pescara remain bottom of the Serie A table with just 12 points from 28 matches.
