Former South African international Dino Ndlovu is having a great 2016/17 season with Azerbaijan Premyer Liqa club Qarabag FK.
The 27-year-old striker has netted 10 goals in all major competitions in his first season with team and the are currently sitting at the top of the Premyer Liqa log.
Ndlovu, whose side will participate in the Azerbaijan Cup semi-finals against Neftchi Baku, discussed his hopes of returning to the South African national team, Bafana Bafana.
"As far as the national team is concerned, I have always been proud to be apart of the [Bafana] squad," Ndlovu told Kickoff.com.
"But I was disappointed not to have played, especially last season, after I scored so many goals for my team. I was not given a fair chance.
"However, that's in the past, for now I will wait to see who the new coach of the national team is," he added.
"If he needs me, I will always be available because it's always an honour for me to wear the national team jersey.
Ndlovu returned to his scoring ways on Tuesday as his goal helped Qarabag beat AZAL 1-0 in a league game after failing to score in three consecutive games.
"I am disappointed with my goal-scoring form because I didn't start with my current team," Ndlovu continued.
"And I didn't do pre-season with them, and that hampered my progress so far in terms of fitness.
"Buy, yeah, I am a bit happy that I am scoring once again. I hope it will be enough to help my team compete for the double this season."
