There were seven 2017 CAF Champions League first-round first-leg matches which took place on Saturday, March 18.
The winners on aggregate booked their place in the Group Stages of the prestigious continental club competition.
Rail Club du Kadiogo from Burkina Faso beat Algerian side USM Alger 1-0 in Ouagadougou, but the latter won 2-1 on aggregate.
In Omdurman, Sudanese side Al-Merrikh hammered Nigerian club Rivers United 4-0. As a result Al-Merrikh won 4-3 on aggregate.
Libyan side Al-Ahli Tripoli lost 3-1 to Moroccan giants FUS Rabat in Rabat with the tie ending in a 3-3 draw on aggregate. But Al-Ahli won on the away goals rule.
The defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns drew 1-1 with Ugandan club KCCA in Kampala. As a result South African giants Sundowns won 3-2 on aggregate.
In Libreville, CF Mounana stunned Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca 1-0. The tie ended in a 1-1 draw on aggregate and Wydad won 5-4 on penalties.
Tanzanian giants Young Africans drew 1-1 with Zambian club Zanaco in Dar es Salaam. The tie ended in a 1-1 draw on aggregate and Africans won on the away goals rule.
CNaPS Sport held Cameroonian side Coton Sport to a 1-1 draw in Antananarivo. But Sport won 2-1 on aggregate.
