Ghana’s Black Stars have lined up a friendly match against Mexico which will be held in America, as reported by GHANASoccernet.

The proposed friendly against the North American side will be played at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, on June 28.

The Black Stars will use the match as preparation for qualifiers for both the 2018 World Cup and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The match against El Tri will come less than three weeks after Ghana’s opening group stage match against Ethiopia in the 2019 AFCON preliminaries.

Mexico have beaten the Black Stars in both of the teams’ previous meetings: 1-0 in a 2006 match played in Dallas and 2-1 in a 2008 match played in England.
