CAPS United captain Hardlife Zvirekwi has urged his teammates to remain grounded after they reached the 2017 CAF Champions League group stages.
The Zimbabwean club stunned DR Congo giants TP Mazembe in the Champions League first-round to advance to the next stage of the tournament last weekend.
“My word to my teammates is; that it’s not going to be easy in the group stages. It will be tougher than what we faced in the first round," Zvirekwi told SuperSport.com.
"So we need to do more. We need to work harder. We should remain grounded and humble, because it’s still a long way. I am excited to achieve this.
"I am very happy for the team, for the club and for myself. It’s one of the biggest achievements for me and for the club," he added.
"We have never reached this stage before so it’s a great thing for us as a team."
CAF have confirmed the group stage draw for the 2017 Champions League and Confederation Cup will take place on April 26.
