Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace

Ivory Coast player Wilfried Zaha is enjoying some fine form at the moment but he’s still no major loss for England, according to former Crystal Palace player Andy Gray.
Zaha player was capped twice by England but recently changed his international allegiance and has committed his future to Ivory Coast, the country of his birth.
Zaha, who is currently on the books of Palace, represented the Elephants at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and showed some fine form for the national team in this month’s international break.
Gray acknowledges the quality of Zaha’s current play, but argues that if he wasn’t good for England a few months ago, then it is no major loss for the Three Lions.
"He is playing well now but he made his decision before he hit this form so how can it be a missed opportunity?" Gray told the Croydon Advertiser.
"He [Zaha] was not good enough for England four months ago.
"England weren't crying out for a player of his stature four months ago because he wasn't good enough, so it's easy to say when somebody's performing 'oh we've missed our opportunity'.
"He had an inconsistent spell but he's shown some consistency since coming back from the African Cup of Nations. Everything's going really well for him at the moment."
