Orlando Pirates head coach Kjell Jonevret cut a disappointed figure after his side narrowly lost to Free State Stars on Saturday evening.
The Buccaneers were beaten 3-2 by Ea Lla Koto in an Absa Premiership game at the Kaizer Motlatsi Stadium in Orkney, South Africa.
"No [it wasn't frustrating], I was a little bit more surprised because I think – okay, we conceded one goal in every game since I arrived but – the defence have been okay, but I was very surprised in the first half," Jonevret told SuperSport TV.
"I think it's okay to lose games 1-0 or something, but to concede three goals in such ways – a stupid free-kick and we totally forget to mark the player – that's a little bit surprising, I couldn't believe that," the Swedish coach added.
"They [Stars] were good. In the first few minutes we had them on the right side but then they scored that, if you look at the replay, crazy goal!"
The two sides will meet again next week Saturday in the Nedbank Cup last 16 encounter at the same venue.
"Respect to Free State Stars. I hope our players are a little bit ashamed of this [performance] and we'll go home and be back here next Saturday, and hopefully we can play a better game," he concluded.
