Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has lauded Yaya Toure as the 'pass master' following their massive clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in London on Sunday.
The former Ivory Coast captain was introduced in the 46th minute during City's 2-2 stalemate with Arsenal in the English Premier League (EPL) game.
Spanish tactician Guardiola felt that the Citizens played much better following the introduction of the former FC Barcelona central midfielder.
"We were much better when Yaya went in because he has this huge personality to play," Guardiola said on the Telegraph.co.uk
"I wanted more passes. We lose simple passes – and when this happens you cannot defend well.
"You need the quality of passes, and in this Yaya is a master.”
Toure, who is 33-years-old, has made 18 league appearances for the Citizens this season - netting four goals in the process.
