Manchester United defender Eric Bailly

AfricanFootball looks ahead to four Premier League fixtures this evening, with Eric Bailly and Idrissa Gueye taking centre stage in the meeting of Manchester United and Everton.
Bailly’s Red Devils played to a disappointing goalless draw at home to West Bromwich Albion on the weekend, while Gueye’s Toffees fared even worse as they suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of Liverpool.
Both teams are in need of a morale-boosting win and the performances of the Ivorian centre-back and the Senegalese holding midfielder could go a long way in deciding the outcome.
The United-Everton clash is the late kick-off, with three matches getting underway a quarter hour earlier.
Ramadan Sobhi’s Stoke City face a tricky trip to Burnley, Riyad Mahrez and Wilfred Ndidi will hope to continue their strong form when Leicester City host bottom-of-the-log Sunderland, and Nordin Amrabat’s Watford will look for a way past the resilient defence of West Brom, led by Cameroonian Allan Nyom.
