Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane believes that Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City are the favourites to win this season's Absa Premiership title.
City are currently placed at the top of the league standings with 42 points - three ahead of third-placed Chiefs with eight games left.
Mosimane's Sundowns, who are the defending champions, find themselves placed fifth with 35 points from 19 matches.
"I told you, [Kaizer] Chiefs and Cape Town City," Mosimane was quoted on KickOff.com.
"Because it's not easy, especially when you try to rotate [players], It's very difficult to do [get right].
Sundowns (CAF Champions League) along with second-placed Bidvest Wits and fourth-placed SuperSport United (both CAF Confederation Cup) are all busy participating in CAF club competitions.
While City and Chiefs, who are Mosimane's favourites to win the most coveted trophy in South Africa, are not participating in CAF club competitions.
"We [Sundowns] have done it, last year, and we won three trophies, so you have to do it [keep the whole squad fresh]," he added.
"Let's just see if [Wits and SuperSport] can really do it. It's not an easy thing to do, it's a very difficult thing to do."
