Sporting Braga striker Luther Singh believes that South Africa has the some of the most skillful players in world football.
The 19-year-old managed to establish himself in the South Africa under-20 side and also made his debut for the senior national team in the last few months.
Singh, who won the Golden Boot at the 2016 U20 COSAFA Cup and 2017 U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals, says his home country is blessed with good players.
“For me, South Africa has a lot of very good players and I think South Africa has some of the most skilful players in the world,” Singh told Soccer Laduma.
The Stars of Africa academy product is yet to play in the South African Absa Premiership - having turned out for Swedish side GAIS before joining Portuguese side Braga in January 2017.
"It’s difficult to compare myself to other South African players though, because I’ve never played in the South African league, at the top level,” he added.
"So it’s hard to compare myself to them.”
Singh made his senior international debut as Bafana Bafana drew 0-0 with Angola's Palancas Negras in a friendly match in March 2017.
