UAE club Al Ahli are reportedly set to offer Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan an extension to his contract.
The 32-year-old is currently on loan at Ahli from Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG and has impressed despite having a few spells on the sidelines with injuries.
The Black Stars veteran has scored four goals in 11 appearances in the Arabian Gulf League, where he became a legend for former club Al Ain by scoring over 100 goals in all competitions from 2011 to 2015.
GHANASoccernet cites media reports in the UAE and claims that Al Ahli are prepared to take Gyan on loan for a further two seasons, provided they can reach an agreement with Shanghai SIPG and the player.
Gyan has also represented the likes of Liberty Professionals, Udinese, Modena, Rennes and Sunderland in his club career.
