Ghana’s Baba Rahman will cost Schalke 04 a fee in the region of 20-million Euros if they decide to sign him permanently from Chelsea.
The Black Stars defender is currently on loan at the Bundesliga side, but they have an option to sign him outright at the end of the current campaign.
However, Rahman’s services not come cheaply, with the Blues keen on recouping most of the reported 20-million Euros they initially laid out to sign the player from Augsburg in 2015.
"If it's possible, we'd like to keep him," Schalke general manager Christian Heidel said in regards to signing Rahman permanently.
Rahman is currently sidelined with a knee injury he sustained while playing for Ghana at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Prior to the injury, the 22-year-old had made 13 Bundesliga appearances for Schalke.
