The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has completed the group stage draw for the 2017 Confederation Cup.
The draw was held at CAF’s headquarters in Cairo on Wednesday afternoon.
Reigning champions TP Mazembe have been placed in Group D alongside SuperSport United of South Africa, Guinea’s Horoya AC and Gabonese contenders CF Mounana.
Three-time champions CS Sfaxien have been pooled in Group B with MC Alger and Southern African duo Platinum Stars and Mbabane Swallows.
Group A is made up of Morocco’s FUS Rabat, Tunisian side Club Africain, Rivers United of Nigeria and Uganda’s KCCA.
Zambia’s Zesco United are the seeded team in Group C, where they will battle Angola’s Recreativo do Libolo, Sudanese side Al-Hilal Al-Ubayyid and Egypt’s Smouha.
The group stage for the continental competitions begins with Matchday 1 on the weekend of 12-14 May and wraps up with Matchday 6 on the weekend of 7-9 July.
