SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs will renew their rivalry in the Absa Premiership when they meet at Mbombela Stadium on 29 April 2017, kick-off at 18h00.
SuperSport snapped a three-game losing streak (and five-game winless run) in the league with a 1-0 victory away to Bidvest Wits on April 25.
The Tshwane side has claimed 21 points from 11 home matches this season.
Matsatsantsa are placed fifth on the Absa Premiership log with 40 points from 24 matches.
Chiefs suffered a first league loss in 2017 when they were beaten 3-2 at Cape Town City on April 25.
The Soweto giants have claimed 18 points from 12 away matches this season.
The Amakhosi are placed fourth on the Absa Premiership log with 45 points from 25 matches.
In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Chiefs have met in 52 league matches since 1990.
Both Matsatsantsa and Amakhosi have recorded 19 wins in the rivalry, while 14 matches have been drawn.
SuperSport have won eight of their 25 home league matches against Chiefs, suffering eight defeats in the process.
When the teams met earlier this season they played to a 1-1 draw in Soweto.
These teams have not played to a goalless draw in the league since the first half of the 2007/08 season.
