Zambia under-20 international Patson Daka has signed a five-year contract with Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg according to the club's official website.
The 18-year-old forward recently helped Salzburg win this season's UEFA Youth League and the club has since rewarded him with a long-term contract.
Salzburg Football Director Christoph Freund has stated that he's confident Daka will prove a good addition to the club.
"By signing Patson Daka we are continuing our successful path," Freund told the club's official website.
"We have been watching Patson closely for a long time, and we are convinced that he will fit FC Red Bull Salzburg well with the way he plays football.
"We are pleased to have taken another big talent under contract for the long-term at FC Red Bull Salzburg with Patson Daka."
Daka also played an important role as Zambia clinched the 2017 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in his home country.
As a result, the Young Chipolopolo are scheduled to participate in this year's FIFA U20 World Cup finals in South Korea later this month.
