Despite Sunderland’s relegation from the Premier League, Ivory Coast defender Lamine Kone is a wanted man and looks set to stay in the top division.
With Sunderland on their way out of the English top flight, they may be forced into selling their best players.
This includes Elephants centre-back Kone, who has been a regular in the heart of the Black Cats’ defence.
Crystal Palace are reportedly willing to make a 10-million pound offer for the player, who has also been linked with Everton, West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United, according to the Daily Mail.
The Toffees are rumoured to have offered 17-million pounds for the player at the start of the current season, but Sunderland turned them down.
However, with a campaign in the Championship awaiting David Moyes and his charges, the club may be unable to turn down big-money offers for Kone.
