Zanaco’s return game against Al Ahly will be a tough one, according to coach Mumamba Numba.

The Zambian side held the Egyptian giants to a goalless stalemate in their opening CAF Champions League Group D clash in Alexandria on Saturday.

The Southern Africans will host Ahly for the return game in early July and Numba is expecting a tough encounter.

“It was a tough game. We faced an organised and experienced team but managed to earn a point,” Numba said, as quoted by KingFut.

“Our performance was well planned and we did what we trained on.”

In regards to hosting Ahly, Numba said, “The match will not be easy and needs good planning.

“However, all teams in the group have equal chances to qualify to the next round.”

Zanaco’s next Champions League match is at home to Wydad Casablanca on May 24.
