Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is expected to have a clear out of his squad in the European summer, which will reportedly included the sale of Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Citizens have endured a trophyless season in the Spaniard’s first campaign at the Etihad Stadium and it is expected he will engineer a major overhaul of their squad.
German publication Bild has reported that Bunesliga clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim, are keen on bringing the player to Germany.
Iheanacho is expected to join the likes of Ivorians Yaya Toure, Wilfried Bony, Pablo Zabaleta, Jesus Navas, Bacary Sagna, Joe Hart and Gael Clichy in being sold or released by City to make way for new recruits, according to TEAMtalk.
The 20-year-old Nigeria is expected to bring a transfer fee of around 20-million pounds.
