Zambia Under-20 international Enock Mwepu is looking forward to the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup finals.
Junior Chipolopolo are in Group C along with Portugal, Iran and Costa Rica, and the tournament will be hosted by South Korea.
Mwepu, who is currently on the books of NAPSA Stars, believes that they are as good as any other team in the competition.
“The draw is tough but it is not like there are easy games at this level," Mwepu said on ENCA.
"We qualified for the World Cup so we are as good as any other team," the promising midfielder continued.
"Portugal is a good team but this is a competition we just have to be prepared then we can beat any team,”
“We want to do better for our country. We will do our best after all we are African champions."
Zambia will lock horns with Portugal in their first Group C match at the Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo on Sunday.
