Tunisia’s Premier League side, Club Africain have arrived in Uganda ahead of a group A CAF Confederations Cup game.
Azam Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC will host the Tunisians at their Philip Omondi Stadium on Tuesday.
“We are here to try and get a second another win,” Club African coach Chibeb Ellili told AfricanFootball.com at the Sheraton Hotelon Monday.
The Tunisian side beat Rivers United 3-1 last weekend, while KCCA FC fell 3-0 away to Morocco’s FUS Rabat.
Bilel Ifa and Ossama Darragi who scored in the win over Rivers United are also part of the team that arrived on a chartered plane on Sunday.
But the KCCA FC coach, Mike Hillary Mutebi has made it clear that if they hope to perform well at this stage then they must start with a win against Club Africain. “We must respond and return to winning ways,” added Mutebi.
The club will be boasted by the return of first choice goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan and skipper Denis Okot who missed the first group game due to suspension after accumulating two yellow cards.
KCCA FC are Uganda’s first club to qualify for the group stage of a CAF competition.
