AS Vita Club will square off with Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2017 CAF Champions League Group C match at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 16h30 CAT.

Vita suffered a 3-1 defeat to Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis in their opening group match at the Stade Olympique de Rades earlier this month.

The defeat left the DR Congolese giants placed at the bottom of Group C without a single point. They are three points behind the leaders Esperance.

Yazid Atouba Emane, who scored Vita's goal against Esperance, will be hoping to find the back of the net again and help his side overcome Sundowns.

Meanwhile, Sundowns were held to a goalless stalemate by Ethiopian side Saint George in their first group match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium earlier this month.

The draw sees the South African giants placed second on the Group C standings with one point. They are two points behind the leaders Esperance.

Khama Billiat remains Sundowns' key attacker and he will be looking to inspire the defending champions to victory over Vita.

Bakary Gassama from Gambia will be in charge of the encounter between Vita and Sundowns.
