AfricanFootball previews the midweek CAF Confederation Cup fixtures, which will see eight matches played across the continent on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today’s action is book-ended by Group B matches: in Lobamba, Swaziland, Mbabane Swallows host Platinum Stars in a Southern African derby, while a North African derby in the same pool sees MC Alger host CS Sfaxien in Algiers.

In between CF Mounana will be looking to bounce back from Matchday 1 defeat to TP Mazembe when they host South Africa’s SuperSport United, while Uganda’s KCCA are in the same boat ahead of their match at home to Tunisia’s Club Africain in Kampala.

Wednesday’s action kicks off in the early evening when Nigeria’s Rivers United host FUS Rabat in an eagerly anticipated Group A clash, quickly followed by Horoya v TP Mazembe and Smouha v Recreativo Libolo in Group D and C respectively.

The final fixture of Matchday 2 sees Sudan’s Al-Hilal Al-Ubayyid host Zambian side Zesco United, with the home side looking to bounce back from a loss to Libolo in the previous round of matches.
