Nigeria international Alex Iwobi, who plays for English Premier League (EPL) giants Arsenal, has insisted that he has not changed since turning professional.
The Arsenal forward also talked about Ola Aina, who switched his allegiance at senior national team level from England to Nigeria earlier this year.
Iwobi says he grew up with Oina in London, England and he also spends some time with his countryman Kelechi Iheanacho of Manchester City.
“I’m good friends with Ola Aina at Chelsea," Iwobi told Pitching It Black .
"We actually grew up together – lived on the same road, went to the same school. Kelechi Iheanacho at Man City is another good friend.
"He was actually at the house recently to eat. I’ve got some good friends in football," he added.
"Even my friends that don’t play, they’re still around me to this day. They haven’t changed on me once.”
Oina, who is a former England youth international, is still waiting for FIFA to approve his international switch from England to Nigeria.
